Not an AI assistant, an execution layer
Works with the systems you already use
Every action logged, sourced, and auditable

AI assistants answer. ChiefofStaff orchestrates.

From instruction to completion.

ChiefofStaff receives your instruction, works out what it relates to, selects the right people and systems, and tracks the work to completion, with a full audit trail.

Zero-touch inbox

Read, draft, reply and file, by instruction. Get back only what actually needs you.

Task delegation

Hand a task to a named colleague. They are told, it carries their deadline, and it appears in their own list and morning brief.

Answers out of your own systems

Ask what was agreed, what is outstanding, or what landed overnight. It reads your connected accounts and answers with the sources it used.

Governed execution with a full audit trail

Every action is recorded: what was decided, why, which sources were used, who approved. Anything it cannot evidence is stripped before it reaches you.

How ChiefofStaff works

From intent to controlled execution, across your people, systems, and AI.

1

Connect your own accounts

Each person connects their own Outlook or Google account, under their own login. Nothing migrates and nothing is replaced.

2

Express your intent

Say it or type it, from your phone. There is nothing new to open and no commands to memorise.

3

Controlled execution with a full audit trail

ChiefofStaff works out who and what is involved, applies your rules, routes the work, asks for approval where you require it, and records every action and its reasoning.

What happens under the hood

Every instruction runs through a governed sequence, not a single step. Each stage is checked, applied, and recorded before the next begins.

  1. 1Intent captured, from voice or text
  2. 2Who and what it relates to established
  3. 3Privacy and policy rules checked
  4. 4The right connected system selected
  5. 5AI or workflow selected for the task
  6. 6Work routed to the right person or system
  7. 7Approval requested where you require it
  8. 8Every action and its reasoning recorded
  9. 9Tracked to completion

Security and privacy by design

Auditability is not a compliance feature. It is what lets you trust work you did not watch happen.

  • Source traceability, every answer shows the documents and data behind it
  • Controlled replay, you can inspect the inputs, adjust them, re-run, and compare
  • Privacy profiles, per-person credentials, and model selection, with no-training arrangements on the models we run
  • Policy record, what approval was required and who gave it

One platform. Complete execution.

Simple pricing for serious operators.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about ChiefofStaff

What is ChiefofStaff?
ChiefofStaff is the layer between what you say and the work getting done. An AI assistant gives you an answer and stops. ChiefofStaff takes the instruction, works out the people, documents and systems involved, routes the work, tracks it to completion, and leaves a record of what happened and why. Your existing accounts stay exactly where they are; it becomes the coordination layer above them. It was built first with law firms, where the cost of an hour is easy to count and the standard of proof is high, but nothing in it is specific to legal work.
What makes this different from Copilot, Harvey, or ChatGPT?
Copilot works inside one software environment, Microsoft 365. ChatGPT produces text. Both are point tools that give you an output and stop, leaving you to carry it to whoever does the work. ChiefofStaff works across the environment you actually operate in. It decides which people, systems and documents are required, then manages the route to completion: it retrieves the relevant files, routes tasks to the right people, asks for approval where you require it, and tracks what happens next. Assistants answer. ChiefofStaff carries the thing to done.
Which devices are supported?
Any device. Today you reach it by voice or text from your phone, and on iPhone there is a Shortcut that gives you a hands-free reply with no taps at all. Nothing about it is iPhone-only.
Does it work with my email and calendar?
Yes. Microsoft 365 (Outlook and calendar) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Calendar and Drive) are connected today, per person and under each person's own login, never a shared one. Clio is built and being connected with the first organisations. You drive it all by voice or text.
Is my data secure?
Here is the honest version rather than the reassuring one. Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS, the database sits in the EU (Frankfurt), each person acts under their own credentials with isolation enforced in the database rather than promised in an instruction, and we never sell your data or use it to build marketing profiles. Some processing, including speech to text, currently passes through providers hosted in the United States, and the security page says so plainly along with what we retain and for how long. Read it before you decide.
How do I give ChiefofStaff instructions?
Speak it or type it, in your own words. Delegate a task, move a meeting, ask what needs you this morning, find a document and send it on. There are no commands to memorise and no syntax to get right, and if something important is missing it asks you one question rather than guessing.
How much does it cost?
$99 per person per month, which covers everything: unlimited instructions, your connected accounts, governed execution with the full audit trail, and every feature. Onboarding is done with me rather than by a sign-up form, and nothing is charged before we agree the scope together.
When will ChiefofStaff launch?
It is running in production now, with a small number of organisations. Onboarding is done with me, one at a time, so places are limited by my calendar rather than by a number. Ask for early access and I will tell you plainly whether it fits what you need.

Everything begins with intent. Everything ends with execution.
